So my plan to begin a blogging frenzy didn't quite work out, my first post was created days before my 22nd birthday and I've been pretty busy since then! This post is coming to you from my brand spanking new iPad, a Christmas gift from mama and papa Claus! This should hopefully mean that my blogging will become more regular.
This post will be pretty much a round up of my Christmas gifts, I am a well and truly spoilt lady and received so much more than I could ever have imagined, I am so so lucky.
Eventually I will get round to mentioning a few of my birthday gifts including the beautiful Cambridge Satchel Co. satchel given to me by my wonderful boyfriend and a dream of a faux fur coat from my parents!
Anyway, Christmas...

Blue Velvet.
Today!
So i've spent today at work but managed to do a little bit of shopping after. Just a few 'essentials' and not my usual splurging!
My buys today consisted of mainly beauty related items, I nipped into boots as I needed a new mascara so badly, I tried about every mascara available before I finally discovered MaxFactor False Lash Effect and in a really vain way, it changed my life! As much as I found and fell in love with the original version I still deviate from time to time, most recently I tried the 24 hour variation and it was such a bad decision, I mean it looks fantastic but I could not get it off, I tried everything but it just ripped my lashes out! I have decided to stick to the fusion version (which I hated at first I must admit) as it's most definitely my favourite!
I also bought some salon style hair clips, I have major issues getting velcro rollers to stay in my long heavy hair so I have my fingers tightly crossed that these will work, I will post on these at some point in the near future.
I also purchased a moisturiser that is part of the Simple Derma range, I'm really hoping it works on my dry skin, I recently tried the Simple nourishing moisturiser and while it has worked and makes my skin lovely and soft it just isn't tackling my very dry skin as I had hoped.
I also bought the L'Oreal Elnett Satin Heat Styling Spray for volume, with my hair being so heavy I also have major volume issues and I like my hair with a bit of oomph so i'm going to see how this works and will inform the world wide web.
Lastly, I purchased a set of ecoTOOLS brushes, I am venturing more frequently into the world of eyeshadow so figured this was necessary and I really needed a new blusher brush so the fact that this also came with a little make up bag was a plus.
Those are all of my treats for today so I shall review these in due course!
