So it's been the first if my two weeks off and I have been so busy. A combination of meeting friends for lunch, spending time with my family and my boyfriend and making time for me.
There's been a whole lot of pizza, a few drinks, many metro journeys and lots of outfit changes but not much time for photos, here are a few though.

X Offender - Topshop vintage style tea dress.
Today I am wearing the most adorable little vintage style dress from Topshop, I nabbed it in the sale some time ago and it is beautiful. The material is a little weird, you know like those sacks you had when you were younger to go down slides on fair grounds. The actual name for that material escapes me but it definitely reminds me of that, a little scratchy but a beautiful dress. I find sizing to be a bit big but I tried it with and without a belt, as shown in the photos, and still think it looks good!
Teamed with my Topshop wedges which sideline as snow boots for me and a chunky cardigan I am good to go.
Also today I received a sneaky little online purchase! I'm not sure whether I mentioned this on Friday but the pinafore I bought from River Island was £28 in the store in which I bought it. I just so happened to be browsing on their site looking for something else when I spotted my exact pinafore, the one I'd bought hours earlier and was sitting wearing minus tags wasting time before going out, for only £15!!!! Now I couldn't believe this and it made me mighty angry but fortunately my size was available so I bought it. Having received it today I plan on taking it back to the store and getting my £28 back! I thought it was a bargain to start with but £18.95 with postage was definitely too good to miss and would've annoyed me for weeks if I hadn't been that little bit sneaky!
Oh and M&S buttermilk pancakes with butterscotch sauce are the best creation in the world.

Cassius - Weekend jaunts.
This weekend has been a dream. Firstly, I finished work at 6:10pm on Friday night for two whole weeks. Saturday was spent having a very relaxed and surprisingly not very hungover morning. My boyfriend picked me up to go to the metro centre and pay off the remaining balance on our summer holiday.
I wore the Topshop side split striped t-shirt with tights and shorts under, a bit if jewellery, my leopard collar Topshop coat and my Next Chelsea shoes.
We had lunch at Wagamama, I've been pestering my boyfriend to dine there for so long, he's generally very anti noodle but I convinced him! He had the Yaki Soba which I tasted and it wa absolutely delicious and I had Chilli Chicken Ramen which was also a delight but not as spicy as I'd hoped!
Then we went home, changed and we're ready for an evening on Asian fusion cuisine at Asiana, the food there wasn't fantastic, in fact my boyfriend was brought the wrong order but chose not to kick up a fuss over it. After that we decided to just head home rather than stay out for drinks so quite a chilled one.
For this I wore my Topshop velvet navy draped back low cut playsuit with my wedge boots and a coat. I love this playsuit but do not get enough wear out of it. In fact the salt time I wore it I was in Budapest last summer.its beautiful though, a really stand out item of clothing although the photos do not show this!
I awoke this morning after a little lie in then went home to see my mam and had a very relaxed, family orientated mothering Sunday.
Happy Mothers Day to all of you mothers out there!

Coming Down - River Island pinafore dress with polo neck.
I bought the most fabulous pinafore playsuit from River Island today, I have so much love for it I'm wearing it tonight.
It's black with a cross over back in a silky 100% polyester material. I'm wearing it with a cream polo neck underneath and my Topshop wedge boots. A slick of red lipstick and a bun in my hair and I'm ready for the off.

Saeglopur - Candy Striper.
All hail the amazing super swift collect from store delivery courtesy of Topshop. Ordered yesterday and arrived today, all for only £2! I suppose I am biased in its perfection as working in the city centre kind of makes the store delivery particularly convenient for myself!
Anyway, the dress. It's the dress I posted about yesterday.
Upon picking it up I took it straight back to work and whipped it out of the package. Now the pink is bright, brighter than I'm used to but it's not neon. It'll take me a while to get used to but I'm keeping it, it's delicious and makes me look like a little candy striper lady!
Topshop stripe sundress you are a joy. Upon getting home tonight and trying it on I have noticed the skirt seems a little more flared than I'd like, there's just a lot of material, something I'll also get used to. The material is very thin too, I apologise profusely for the black underwear showing through the dress on the photos I just really wanted to try it!
Although the material is thin this will be perfect for summer and my vacation, I also love the contrast white collar and cuffs on the 3/4 sleeves. It's really sweet. Fit wise I always have an issue with my ridiculous large chest and small waist combination. I ordered an 8 and while I feel the waist is fine, if anything a little loose but this will be perfect for comfort during warm dewy days and summer lunches in beer gardens. The chest is alright when wearing the correct bra but if I get a bit spirited and happen to be wearing a bra that emphasises my assets it could get a little gapey. The correct underwear will eradicate this potential fiasco though!
I also picked up this gorgeous pair of pumps while I was picking up my item. Black mesh and velvet spot pumps with a heat at the front. I'd bought these when they first appeared a while ago but I bought a 4 and they were a bit big so I returned them. I picked up a 3 in the sale today and while they look adorable I fear they may be a bit uncomfortable when walking. They feel alright when I'm still but I fear they'll not be as pleasing when on the move.
I've also included a few snaps of the other shoes I ought during the week for my hols. I snapped these up when they appeared in Primark, a pair of low wedge sandals in black suede look material. They're almost identical to my New Look numbers I always wear and have already posted on here multiple time but the wedge is smaller making them perfect for both summer days and summer getaways.
