Not With Haste - Floral skater skirt and weekend frolics.

This weekend has been a bit of a relaxed one, I was off work yesterday and since Glen has to go away for work this week and we won't be able to see each other until the weekend we decided to spend Friday night up until I began work on Sunday together. Friday we spent drinking wine from my extra large glasses and watching the American Pie: Reunion on DVD. on Saturday we had planned to go up to Kielder for a walk but as it started snowing again we decided on shopping instead, my boyfriend needed work trousers so we went for a search.
We didn't have breakfast before we left so grabbed a Starbucks when we got there, I had a Berry Hibiscus Refresha and an all day breakfast panini, Glen had a vanilla spice latte with a sausage buttie.
After out frolics in the shopping centre we drove back to mine and had a walk along to Liberty Brown for food and cocktails. They do a salmon dish that it to die for, perfectly pan fried with chorizo salsa and saffron potatoes, wow. Glen got the Thai red curry. They were both delicious and the cocktails were a dream.
After this we returned home and ate cupcakes in bed! Best weekend!
On Saturday I wore a plain white long sleeved shirt I bought from Topshop, along with a floral skater skirt I've had for years. With thick tights, a chunky knit scarf and my trench coat I was toasty.
I also received the item I ordered from ASOS during the week, not quite what I expected and I'll be sending it straight back, a white Bardot crop top, my oh my so short and just not a good look for me. I didn't even try it on I just pulled it out of the bag and saw that it wasn't anything like I'd imagined. Eeeeek!
