Road To Nowhere - Polka dot trousers and crochet collar shirt.

A quick what I wore today post for you lot. Today I decided to wear a completely inappropriate outfit for the weather! I did not anticipate the snowfall at all. I don't regret a thing though, I haven't had the chance to wear these trousers in ages. The particular trousers I am speaking of are the Topshop pale blue polka dot numbers I acquired many months ago! They are the most amazing trousers and catapulted me into an actual obsession with cropped trousers. Obviously, they are cropped in style and the colour is a pale blue, such a perfect shade, not baby boy bedroom but not overly pale, I adore these. Admitted have on them a polka dot pattern with the cutest little polka dots in a king of velvet feeling material, the pastel hues of these trousers just drew me to them. I'd tried them on multiple times after they caught my eye last summer but couldn't seem to make them work, the fit was always wrong, a little too flared on the leg for my liking! A while passed and I'd almost forgotten about them when I saw them in the sale in a size down, I thought I'd try them on only for them not to fit and I'd be able to forget them. This did not happen, I tried them and they were just the fit I wanted. I snapped them up immediately!
Today I paired them with my wedge platform suede effect shoes I covered in a previous post and a cobalt blue shirt with a gorgeously delicate crochet collar I bought from a charity shop a long time ago.
I normally wouldn't choose these colours together but I tried it on the off chance and personally I think it really goes, the cobalt is so close to purple they clashed in a good way!
On top I wore a most certainly not warm enough trench coat which I forgot to photograph, the only really sensible thing was my Pom Pom hat had carried in my bag!
