Only If For A Night - Topshop striped split side t-shirt and Topshop riding pants.

A couple of items were purchased today in between work and pancake eating. I wandered into Topshop as per usual, I stumbled upon this horizontal striped split side t shirt. Initially, silly Danielle, didn't notice the splits at the side and just thought this would be such a good dress for summer nights, no tights, wedge boots and a small bag with big shades, perfection! When I tried it on at home and discovered the splits I became not entirely sure with my choice, is it too random? Would I actually wear it? Why are the splits even there? There are too many questions! Anyway I'm undecided and that is that.
Along with those I bought these thick Topshop pants, I'm unsure as to whether Topshop refer to them as riding pants but to me they are too similar to the American Apparel riding pants not to see the resemblance. They're nothing special, just an alternative to leggings and something I can wear with just a shirt as I'm not a jeans lady at all. They're thick, in another a trouser but not quite a legging kind of way. Overall, they're cute!
I cheated at pancake making today! I could eat pancakes and Nutella all day long! Eek.
Also in French, Mardi Gras means Fat Tuesday! I read this on Wikipedia so hope it's wrong but it would be very fitting for the Tuesday I've had!
