Bedouin Dress

So here's a quick post just to talk through what I wore this evening. Or what I am wearing currently to be more specific! After an early finish from work I have scooted on home to do a quick change before my boyfriend picks me up to go on a little seaside stroll followed swiftly by cosy at home DVD viewing.

(I will post pictures tomorrow when I have a more relaxed schedule.)

I opted most definitely for comfort, a pair of thick black tights, probably 120 denier but I forget once the packets are thrown away. I tend to only ever buy tights from Primark since I go through so many pairs as I have a tendency to ladder them by pulling them up too much!
Along with Dr Marten boots, just standard black, 8 hole DM's. I've owned these for quite some time but they're looking relatively pristine as I don't think I sized correctly when I purchased as I was a little excited to buy and they cause me immense amounts of pain when worn for too long or with the incorrect sock! Some people really despise Dr Martens but I think they really add that extra something to an outfit, I'll wear them with anything, from playsuits on nights out to teaming them up with my rather magnificent tartan coatigan on a chilly day!
I then scoured through my wardrobe and threw on this little crochet lace tunic, it's very short and very see through but I think it's very cute, it was from Topshop a while ago and I find it to be such a comfortable dress when you're just having one of those 'hmmphh' days! It's like a cream crochet lace with a peach under layer, almost pointless as its completely see through so it's nude underwear or nothing!
On top I wore my new mint swing coat, I just love the pastels at the minute and this coat is such a beauty, I would say its sized rather large as I would generally buy a coat in the correct, if not bigger size which would generally mean I would have gotten an 8. I have this coat in a 6 and it's a pretty perfect fit on me. I suppose that kind of this is all personal preference anyway!
Over this I threw on an scarf and my H&M black bowler hat, probably not a good idea as the seaside wind will probably have it blowing along the waves in no time!
