No Wow - River Island pyjamas and weekend jaunts.

So I've had a busy little weekend, on Friday a little post work treat had arrived, the lovely black and white dress I had ordered from ASOS arrived. A post about that dress will follow this one.

So, back to my weekend. A rare Saturday off work meant that I ventured out with my boyfriend for weekend treats, first we had a caffeine fix at Starbucks, I'll be honest here though mine was more of a skimmed classic hot chocolate with whipped cream fix! Divinely sinful! We were meant to be perusing for items to take with us to our little lodge escape, pillows, cushions, throws and that kind of thing. Though this escapade took a back seat and we meandered into HMV expecting some devilish sale where everything was £1. This is not what we found. What we did find however was 127 Hours for £3. We love this movie and saw it in our local cinema, it was much better than I expected and the surprise appearance of Clemence Poesy was an extra treat. As well as this we bought the Hannibal trilogy, I already have The Silence Of The Lambs, receiving it for Christmas, but the other two were not in my possession and it worked out cheaper to buy the set! Therefore, as I am writing this I am paying little attention to Hannibal playing on my DVD player.

Today has involved mainly being at work, bathing and eating lovely food! Oh, lounging in my River Island silky pjs post bath. They are gorgeous, the pattern is growing on me the more I see it, the only turn off being the tassel. Also I find the sizing odd, I bought an S expecting an 8, a big 8 max but the trousers are so big that without using the drawstring they would possibly fall down. Anyway I love them still, they feel so smooth and luxurious and I don't feel quite so slobbish hanging out in these pyjamas!

A quick note on what I wore yesterday for frolics. I wore the Topshop petite shirt I looked at in a previous post along with the glorious velvet dungarees I mentioned in the same post. As it is still snowing I threw in thick tights and Dr Marten boots along with my beautiful cream fur coat my Mam got me for my birthday. I will focus on this coat in a future post I promise. I also wore my tartan scarf, some striped mittens and a cream cable knit bobble hat!

And a pre bath hi from Simba at the bottom.
