A quick what I did last night, I attended a quiz at a local pub with my boyfriend, we expected questions and a bit of raucous behaviour when we beat the old men at their game but that was not so. It was really quiet and although we had a good time I was shocked at the lack of questions, it was a picture round only! Not going to go wild over that though as we WON!!! £10 of free food/drinks for us, yeyyyy.
Now, onto what I wore, a jersey skater dress from Topshop in plum, I most certainly did not realise how short this was, with my adorable Topshop boots I received for my birthday, Adonis2.
on top of this I went wild for tartan, double denim is so 2012 it all about double tartan..or so I like to make myself think! I wore my River Island tartan coatigan, it's reversible which adds to its amazing qualities, it did not keep me warm but it looked good so I'm happy with that. I then threw on my Urban Outfitters tartan scarf and a cream beanie hat, a bit of a mix but good for the pub!
A quick mention about my UO delivery I received today. Around about jubilee time last year my sister, mam and I visited Jesmond Dene House for afternoon tea. It's such an English tradition I adore it, it was perfect and we had such a lovely afternoon it's just a shame we don't get to do it very often. Anyway, I'd been fantasising about creating my own afternoon tea extravaganza since then and as I spied UO sale I saw the most divine looking cake stand at only £10, I just had to have it. It arrived today and I simply adore it, a bake session is most definitely in order! Along with this I snapped up some cafe style glasses, I've recently become obsessed with the purchase of home items and I thought these were so cute I just had to have them. I also threw in a little photo snow globe as I feel slightly hard done by that I never had a snow globe as a youth and thought that this would be very lovely!
